Community Involvement

Teresa Knear-Bell is the Past President of the Jeffersonville Rotary Club and a current member. In 2001, she received the Golden Leaf Award from the Community Foundation for my volunteer work and the Outstanding Service Award from Bridgepointe Center in 1994. Teresa serves on the scholarship committee for the Community Foundation of Southern Indiana. She is a volunteer and teacher for Junior Achievement at Southern Indiana schools since 1995. Teresa is currently working with Bob Hedge Park Planning Committee and is a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Teresa is also currently a member of the Southern Indiana Estate Planning Council.

Teresa Knear-Bell referees high school and USSF soccer. She is the soccer referee assignor for Clark County Soccer Association, the New Albany Catholic Deanery and the Netsurfer Leagues. Teresa is on the Board of Directors for Clark County Soccer Association . She is also the past-president of the Southern Indiana Soccer Officials Association and currently Teresa serves as the membership chairman. She coaches the middle school soccer team at Sacred Heart and a U-19 team. Additionally, Teresa is involved with the IHSAA for soccer referee licenses certification.

Teresa has served in the past for Easter Seals, Goodwill, and IUS B and E committee, past president of numerous bowling leagues. She has been on the Southern Indiana and Louisville Chamber of Commerce. Teresa has also been on the Service Above Self Dinner planning committee and the Rotary Grant committee.
